The Turner Kirk Trust has emerged victorious from the Midnight Madness 2026 challenge, winning first and second place and raising over £50k for young people's charities in the UK.
The immersive puzzle-solving experience is an annual fundraising event that takes place across various locations in central London. Teams compete in a mix of scavenger hunts, immersive theatre activities, and escape-room-style puzzles designed by immersive experience creators, MindBlown, while raising money for young people's charities via Raise Your Hands. This year's event took place through the night on the 16th-17th May.
With impressive performance and fundraising efforts from teams across the board, this year's Midnight Madness event has raised a grand total of £750k for Raise Your Hands, the event's charitable partner. Raise Your Hands aims to tackle the most pressing issues facing young people across the UK. It works with 17 UK-based young people's charities, each with a turnover of under £2m, enabling donors to confidently support small but high-impact charities.
The Trust's two teams raised over £50k towards the total, finishing in first and second place. The Turner Kirk Trust has participated in Midnight Madness for the past five years and entered two teams for the first time in 2026. The Trust's teams, 'The Imitation Gamers' and 'Unofficial Intelligence', joined 126 other players to race through seven London locations, encountering challenges across different historical eras, on a mission to restore history as we know it.

"An amazing evening. Although taking part and raising money for Raise Your Hands is the main point, the winning is good too! MindBlown surpassed themselves this year with an extraordinary puzzling journey through time."
"Raise Your Hands backs the small charities that change children's lives, the ones doing vital work with almost nothing. Our flagship event, Midnight Madness, channels the energy, creativity and competitiveness of London's finest minds in finance into one unforgettable night of meaningful impact – helping us reach more small charities and the children who need them most."
